Funny about Money
The trick to living debt-free and building wealth is simple: live within your means. Never commit yourself to paying out any more than you have coming in. Frugal habits are often habits of simple living, and so simplicity is a path to frugality, to self-sufficiency, and ultimately to wealth.
Simple living also is a pathway to freedom from stress. We can’t do away with all the stress in our lives—that would make for a pretty boring existence. But by cultivating habits that lend themselves to frugality and clutter-free living, we can cut out a lot of static and distraction.
Money is a metaphor we use to describe stress and the time we have given to us in our lives. This blog explores the connections between personal finance and stress control. Join the conversation by adding your comments at the end of a post that interests you!

Blueprint for Financial Prosperity
‘Tis the gift to be simple,
‘Tis the gift to be free,
‘Tis the gift to come down where you ought to be,
And when we find ourselves in the place just right,
‘Twill be in the valley of love and delight.

If you are reading this because you hope to find the answers to your own challenges, remember: I am not a shrink. Do not go off your meds because you read here that someone else managed to deal with anxiety without pills. Never change your medications without first discussing your plan with your doctor. And I am not a financial counselor. Take what you read here about money with a grain of salt. That said, if this blog gives you some ideas that make your life better, or if you have ideas to share, more power to you. And I’d love to hear about it.
